Does the program support cut copy paste or delete?

Since there's no manual I can't look this up, so is the program capable of deleting elements or objects?

Hi Michael,

We are very sorry for the delay in our reply!

If you'd like to delete a line or a surface that you've created in uMake, go ahead and select the line or surface by double tapping, then hitting the "Erase" button that is featured in the menu that pops up upon selection. If you'd like to select multiple lines or objects, you may double tap all until you have the desired objects selected, then hit delete. Another option to select multiple lines or surfaces is to hold down the green lasso tool, and draw a circle around the objects you'd like to delete.

You also mention copying, and you can do so when you make a selection, and the four floating square buttons appear around it. If you tap the button with the overlapping squares, it will turn the duplication tool on, tap again, it will turn off. If you move the selection with the duplication tool on, it will create a duplicate wherever you move the selection to.

I hope this helps you Michael, and thanks for reaching out!

Hey Brian,

In our upcoming version, there will be a feature that will allow you to import other projects into your current open scene. You can expect this update within the next few weeks.

Was this feature added yet? I need to insert imported stp-files into an existing uMake sketch.

Hi Fabian,

This feature was added! Simply go to the "Playground" tab in the menu (the Rocking Horse icon), and select "My Files". Tap to load the file into your scene.
