Good but....

I love the concept of uMake but I would need OBJ export to make it useful to me, but as a likely occasional user, the available subscription options are just too much. I also found it difficult to make surfaces on a sketch I made, maybe because some of the border lines extended beyond the area I was trying to surface - in which case a "Split Line" function would be good.  If there was an "export obj" upgrade for $10, I would be there, but as it is, I can't see me using it much.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but wanted to share my feedback.

Phil, Thanks for sending your feedback.

Regarding export to OBJ, that is available with the Plus subscription which is $4.99/ month or $49.99/ year (which makes it about $4.17/month). If you put that in perspective its less than most of the Coffee options at Starbucks, or the price of one beer at happy hour. If you are an occasional user you could just subscribe for the months you use it and then stop your subscription at any point. The benefit of the subscription model is that we will be bringing more file formats for export, we are looking into ways to bring import in, and thus subscribers are consistently getting more value added to their subscription.

Regarding the split tool, there are currently a few ways one can split a curve, but we are also working on a feature that would allow a user to split a curve or intersect two curves easily. Most likely the intersection feature would be part of the Plus subscriptions advanced curve editing tools.

That said, we really do appreciate you sharing your feedback and are continuously evaluating our features, additions and pricing.

I hope this helps, and happy to discuss more.
