Alex,

I'm not sure I follow. With regards to trimming and splitting curves you have multiple ways to do it.

Trim: There is a specific trim tool that exists under the quick tool next to the orbit button-- indicated by the lightening bolt. Tap on that to activate trim feature. Place the point where you want the cut to happen, and sketch across the segment of the curve you no longer want.

Trim without deleting:

Method 1: Simply sketch a curve overlapping another curve on the same plane (if the curve exist in the same space) to split a curve.

Method 2: Simply sketch a curve originating from a point on another curve. This will most likely split the curve where the other curve originates from.

Method 3: Place a sketch plane point (tap and hold on a point on a curve till you get the red dot). Sketch a curve originating from that point- again this will split the curve at the sketch plane point.

Split curve: Another option you have is to split a curve. Select any curve, tap edit in the side menu, and then tap and hold on the curve to ad a point or split the curve. Tap split. the curve will now be split into two segments.

Each of these functions essentially act like a trim without deleting the other segment. I can do a tutorial on this if you would like. I think that could be quite helpful.

I hope that helps.
